What is the Entourage Effect?

What is a hemp extract?

What are cannabinoids?

Is there a difference between Pet CBD and Human CBD?

We always recommend that you leave your pet CBD to the dogs, so to speak. CBD for humans and CBD for pets or each specially formulated for your’s and your pet’s individual endocannabinoid system and their smaller bodies. You wouldn’t want to overwhelm your pet with your CBD.

How do I determine a CBD tincture dosage?

The best way to do this is to simply apply it under the tongue where it is then absorbed into the bloodstream.

For maximum effect, let the CBD oil set for as long as possible in order for maximum After a couple of minutes you can then swallow. To determine exactly how much CBD is in a dropper’s worth of oil, utilize the following formula:

[TOTAL CBD IN BOTTLE] ÷ [NUMBER OF MILLILITERS IN BOTTLE] = MGS OF CBD PER DROPPER

For example, if you have a bottle of 30mL CBD tincture that contains 1500mg of CBD:

1500MG ÷ 30ML = 50MG CBD PER DROPPER

While, this method may not be 100 percent accurate, it is far more accurate than not measuring at all. And remember, always start small and work your way up.

How should I dose CBD Oil?

How you dose your CBD oil can depend on several different things, including your age, weight, height, and CBD oil tolerance. We typically recommend the low and slow method. Start with the lowest dose possible, and slowly work your way up until you find an amount that works for you. Typically, we recommend that new users try products within the 250mg to 500mg range while experienced users may want something more, which is why we have products ranging anywhere from 750mg up to 3500mg and beyond. Remember, you can always take more, but you can never take less.

A good rule to follow when determining an optimal CBD dose is to take anywhere from 1-6mg for every 10 pounds of body weight based upon the consumer’s needs. For example, a great starting dose for someone who weighs 150lbs would be somewhere between 15-25mg, and a 200lbs patient would range from 20 to 33mg.

How do I use the dropper to administer my CBD oil?

Many of our CBD oil products include a dropper, which helps administer your dose. We recommend that you take reasonable precautions in keeping the dropper clean to avoid allowing any bacteria to infect the dropper. Don’t let the dropper touch your mouth when placing CBD oil under your tongue, and don’t let it mix with any food or drink either.

Will my dog or cat experience any side effects from CBD oil or CBD pet treats?

As long as you give your dog or cat the proper dose (or the correct number of pet treats) based on their size and weight), they should experience no side effects. However, seeing as hemp-derived CBD oil is all-natural and organic, at most, they may feel a little tired should you give them too much. It is always best to consult with your vet before giving your pet any CBD and if you encounter any problems.

What are CBD terpenes?

In all plants, terpenes are the building blocks for their anatomy. To throw out some scientific jargon, terpenes are groupings of hydrocarbons responsible for the scents, smells, and flavors in just about every plant. What are flavonoids?

What’s the difference between a CBD oil and a CBD tincture?

When you take a CBD oil, your taking pure CBD. You may try full-spectrum CBD oil, which includes all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids the hemp plant has to offer, but for all intents and purposes, you’re still taking CBD. On the other hand, a CBD tincture is a potent formula that mixes CBD with different carrier oils like hemp oil. Together they help your body naturally absorb the CBD.

What is Full spectrum CBD oil?

Full-spectrum CBD oil is a CBD oil or other CBD product that contains all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in the hemp plant. Together they work in a synergistic way to produce the entourage effect in your body.

What is Broad Spectrum CBD?

Like Full spectrum CBD, Broad Spectrum CBD contains all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in the hemp plant. What is CBD Isolate?

What are the different ways to extract CBD oil?

What is Hemp Oil?

Like CBD Oil, Hemp Oil is produced from the hemp plant. However, it is extracted a bit differently. Hemp Oil comes from the leaves, buds, and stem of the hemp plant. It can still retain many of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found naturally in hemp, just like CBD oil. Don’t confuse hemp oil with hemp seed oil, which is produced by pushing the oil out of the seeds.

Does CBD come from marijuana or hemp?

Marijuana and hemp are two different types of cannabis. However, they both come from the same species, known as Cannabis sativa. Both plants contain CBD. Then what’s the difference? In marijuana, CBD is typically found in the seeds and stems. Hemp, on the other hand, contains high quantities of CBD in all parts.

Are CBD and THC the same?

No. Both cannabinoids act differently on the body. THC affects the brain, binding to naturally-occurring CB-1 receptors in the central nervous system and causing a psychotropic high. CBD, on the other hand, is an entirely different molecule. It binds to CB-2 receptors and does not cause a psychotropic high.

Although every effort is exerted for consistency, the milligram content of cannabidiol in any product is an approximation that may vary slightly. What is a phytocannabinoid?
